We launched in Copenhagen in 2010 under our CEO Ulrik Bo Larsen. Today we also have offices in New York, Berlin, Budapest, Sofia, Melbourne and Chennai, and employees and customers around the world. Our story begins in Copenhagen with Ulrik, a team of four, two laptops and big dreams.
2012.
Things take flight with our seed investment from NorthCap Partners.
2013.
Heads are turning and we win our first international accolade: a Bully Award for Excellence in Innovation and Growth Potential.

A Series A investment from Target Partners gives us, in Ulrik’s words, a nice box of building blocks to play with. This proves a bit of an understatement...

Boom!
We grow 443% in revenue and 63% in staff.

Europe can’t contain us any longer, so we hop the pond to set up shop in New York City.

Series B funding from Prime Ventures, Northcap and Target Partners means we can ramp it up yet another level.

The Falcon family spreads even further to new locations in Berlin and Budapest.

Our numbers keep growing on both sides of the Atlantic, we shift our HQ to H.C. Andersens Boulevard in the heart of Copenhagen, and NYC office to Williamsburg.

New name, new capabilities. No longer just social, we relaunch as Falcon.io.
