Change Sentiment.


Add the right context to your social media metrics.

In Social Listening, Sentiment is like a metric that adds context to your social media metrics. Sentiment provides you with the full story around social media buzz and should be high on your team’s radar.To empower you, Listen allows you to change sentiment on mentions, both individually and in bulk.

The function is available both in the mention sidebar and the mention view. Watch the video to learn how you can change sentiment:

STEP-BY-STEP: CHANGE SENTIMENT

1. In a Listen project, click on a topic from the Mentions by Topic in Overview.
2. Once the Mentions sidebar is open, mark the mention you want to change in the upper left corner. 
3. When the mentions have been selected, change the sentiment from the Sentiment drop-down menu.

Hot Tip: After you've marked the first mention in the checkbox, you can change sentiment of multiple mentions in bulk mode by clicking anywhere on them.

 

STEP-BY-STEP: CHANGE SENTIMENT FROM MENTIONS VIEW

1. In a Listen project, Select Mentions in Current View.  
2. On the mention, click on the checkbox in the upper left corner.  
3. When the mentions have been selected, change the sentiment from the Sentiment drop-down menu.
