Default Geo-Targeting for Facebook.

How to set default geo-targeting for country-specific users.

  1. Select your avatar in the upper right-hand corner of the platform and select Organization from the drop-down menu.
  2. Select Users from the left-hand menu and choose the specific user you'd like to geo-target.
  3. Select Edit User.
  4. In the dialogue box with the profile details choose the Language & Country and click Save to confirm your selection.

Note: Due to Facebook restrictions, it is not possible to geo-target Video posts.

Note: The new user will have access to all channels, which are assigned to the team he or she is part of.

Hot tip: In Falcon Social you can set default Facebook geo-targeting for specific user profiles so that these users always target a specific country and language. If you are a community manager for country-specific Facebook profiles, we recommend that you set up default geo-targeting so that you don't have to change the settings each time you publish a post.
