Channel Quick Report: Facebook

A complete overview of Facebook Page, Post & Video metrics to track your performance.

Measure allows you to export up to 3 months of channel data. With a single click you can download 567 Page and 105 Post metrics in a CSV, without spending extra time and effort in creating reports to visualize all the Facebook data.

If you are short on time and need a quick overview of the most actionable insights, we have introduced a few default modules in Quick Reports:  Facebook Reactions for Pages that provides a Summary and a Breakdown review, Page Consumptions, Most Engaged Users and Page Fans Online.

The Page Fans Online block is your single source of truth for the most optimal time to post new content on Facebook. It provides a comprehensive overview of the Average number of fans online over a selected period of time (day, week, month) and a daily breakdown of the Most active hour for your audience. In the example below, the valleys in the graph indicate weekends. You can easily see how a particular day compares to your average day when you hover over the graph line.

Measure also surfaces Impressions in the Quick Reports for Page and Post levels. In addition to total impressions you can now select Organic, Paid and Viral impressions.

The new Consumptions metric allows you to track consumption on both Post (Post Clicks) and Page levels by having an overview of Link Clicks, Video Plays, Photo Views and Other Clicks over time. All these metrics are high value-added improvements, as Page and Post engagement metrics are a trusted source for Facebook marketing strategy optimization.

In order to make informed decisions about using video in your Facebook marketing strategy, you need to understand how your audience consumes it. Measure can now track Video Views not only on Post level but also on a Page level. The graph shows the video traffic stats from all existing videos on your page.

For specific video and post performance insights, Measure has created a special overlay in the Content performance block. The Content Performance block gives a full overview of all your Facebook posts for a selected time period and the key metrics attributed to their performance. Hover over the metric to see a description of what it measures. When you hover over the Type you can see if it was a Picture, Video, Link or a Carousel post. Paid and Organic Reach is also displayed on hover.

Select a single post from the Content Performance to review the breakdown performance by Reach, Engagement, Consumption and Negative Feedback. Video views are also displayed to ensure you have the most important Video stats on both Post and Page level within the report. You can also view the post natively on Facebook by clicking the View on Network button in case you would like to visit the native environment. For those of you with permission to promote posts, simply select Promote.

Are we missing any metrics in the Quick report that are essential for your company? Don’t worry number crunchers, we’ve got your back!
