Today, I’m thrilled to announce that we’ll become a part of Cision, a global leader in Earned Media Management. As a leading social media company in Europe and fast-emerging in the U.S., our social media marketing capabilities fit within Cision’s portfolio by enhancing integrated solutions for the marketing and communications professionals.
In 2010, we set out to build a solution that would transform the way brands engage with customers through their social channels. Our focus was on building an integrated platform that breaks down workflow silos caused by spreadsheets, emails, docs, and disconnected tools. We wanted to create something beautiful and easy to use, connecting digital marketing professionals in one platform.
Throughout our journey, we have raised more than $40m during four rounds from five separate investors. We have opened offices in Copenhagen, New York, Berlin, Melbourne, Sofia, and Budapest.
During the past 12 months alone, we acquired Komfo to further strengthen our team and product offering, were awarded the coveted Ad Tech Speciality badges from the Facebook and Instagram Marketing Partners Programs, and were recently noted as a Leader by G2Crowd in what is undoubtedly one of the most competitive spaces in Martech overall.
I’m incredibly proud of what this milestone means for us as a team. As I look forward, joining forces with Cision will push us further along the trajectory we’re already on as a business today. It will bring together the two best-of-class solutions that will enable us to redefine how businesses execute campaigns across paid, owned and earned media.
Today, we are in a stronger position to achieve the mission we set out to accomplish. The difference is we now have more resources to continue building products that delight our customers.
