Online customer review sites have gained significant traction in recent years.

For good reason: people have always valued word-of-mouth recommendations, and this has only escalated with the internet and social media.

Brightlocal’s most recent consumer review found that 84% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.

Another study found that 97% of consumers say customer reviews factor into their buying decisions.  iPerceptions found that 60% of regular internet users said they were more likely to buy online if they can read peer comments.
